Porcelain vespiaries have been the latest in the studio. I am obsessed with either finding the real thing while hiking the Mendocino hills, or attempting to re-create them with thin strips of porcelain. These vessels are incredibly beautiful, and while their presence in the forest is fleeting, they are truly remarkable. In the last photo, see if you can spy a brave blue bellied lizard attempting to catch himself lunch.

The sweetest little entrance bloom! Loved making this sprawl of magnolia, dogwood, dahlia, and poppies. Can you spy the snake? And look at that lovely @erinhuppceramics vessel! Thank you @mismac712

One of my favorite projects to date, these crocodile nooks are next level. Handmade porcelain orchids, butterflies, ferns, frogs and mushrooms adorn the hand painted walls by @caroline_lizarraga in this gorgeous Austin Texas home

PART ONE // WEST WALL Patrona @patronarestaurant

This installation is a homage to the flora and fauna of the Mendocino coast. Sardines, mussels and kelp nook the brick walls while folks enjoy locally foraged provisions. Steeped deep into the ethos of owners and chefs, Bree and Mike Kersterson work with local farms and fishermen to provide fresh and regional cuisine to the beautiful people of Ukiah, California.
